Who We Are
Human Appeal is a global humanitarian non-profit organization best known for sponsoring over 39,000 orphans in Gaza, Alhamdulillah. We have recently established a branch in the US and our first regional partnership is with ISB. We are here to oversee Domestic Programs like Zakat, volunteer events, social services, mental health awareness, and youth mentoring. Our mission is to serve the local community and strengthen regional partnerships within the broader DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area.

Founded: 1991 (UK-based roots; Human Appeal USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit).
Mission: To save and transform lives by responding to emergencies and building self-sustaining community projects (schools, wells, and healthcare).
Faith-Inspired: While we serve people of all backgrounds regardless of race or religion, our work is rooted in Islamic values like Ihsan (excellence) and Adl (justice).
Global Reach: We operate in over 25 countries, specializing in Zakat-eligible projects, orphan sponsorship, and clean water initiatives
