Volunteers will:
- Help maintain smooth foot traffic flow entering and exiting the prayer area
- Pass out shoe bags to community members as they arrive
- Encourage attendees to continue moving forward and filling available space
- Use walkie talkies to communicate with the operations team if an area becomes full or congested
- Assist community members with locating entrances, exits, prayer spaces, and general event flow
- Help create a welcoming and organized Eid experience for attendees
- Solicit Donation collection after Eid Prayer
Please Note:
- Volunteers should be comfortable politely asserting themselves with kindness when directing crowds
- One volunteer per area should have a walkie talkie for easy communication
- This role may require standing for extended periods of time
- Your presence and attentiveness will play an important role in ensuring a safe and smooth Eid prayer experience for everyone
